Assistant Nurses in the Community can be one of the most rewarding roles, assisting those patients in their own home, allowing them to keep that little bit of independence.
Care Requirements:

  • The service provided is Person Centred Care, it is important to ensure you ask the client what they would like today and guide them in conjunction with the care plan. Some of the tasks include personal care, social supports, escorting to doctors and hospital appointments.
  • We ask that all our nurses carry disposable gloves with them when they attend a community shift. These gloves can be purchased from a variety of stores and can be claimed during your taxation process.
  • Have a reliable vehicle with comprehensive car insurance
